Be a princess for a day and live the lantern scene from the Disney movie Tangled when you purchase our Tangled VIP Package. Enjoy the festival on land, then closer to the lantern release, take a row boat out into the water to release your lantern, and your wishes for the future. VIP Packages are limited so secure yours before they’re sold out. Package includes admission for two, 2 sky lanterns, firepit, S’mores for two, use of row boat, and photo’s.

Each attendee MUST fully complete the registration form with current and correct information within one week of purchase. Failure to do so will end in your tickets being revoked with no refund. We will not email to remind you. You get one chance to complete it so if you put wrong information, it can’t be changed, so look over all information to make sure it’s all correct before submitting the form. Mailing addresses are NOT allowed. Relatives house is NOT allowed. It must be your physical home address. You can find the link to the registration form in your ticket email.
Event check-in packets are sent out via regular mail a couple days before the event, overnight with all information needed to attend and check-in. You MUST complete the required registration form and you MUST put the current and correct home address to receive your packet and to attend. Address forwards are not allowed, and packets returned will not be shipped again. Your signature and ID will be required when delivered to show you received your package. Failure to or refusal to complete the registration, or putting false information on the form violates our security policy and will end in the revocation of your entry.
Parking instructions and arrival time, along with your physical parking pass is included in your check-in packet.
Each adult attendee gets one free sky lantern.
We’ve designed a new type of sky lantern that may be available to purchase at the event. official release date for those are 2025 but may be October. Watch for easter eggs on our instagram.
additional sky lanterns will not be available to cut down on clean-up.
LOA welcomes all ages, however, anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent. You must be 18 years old to purchase tickets.
Proposals are not allowed at this location.

Some of our event locations do allow pets, but not all. If a location has a Paw Ticket then one pet is allowed.
Pets MUST be leashed at all times, and not on a retractable leash, and wearing a harness not just a collar. You must not walk away from your pet at anytime.
Paw tickets are limited as you will be placed in an area just for attendees with pets away from the music and stage.
Revenue for Paw Tickets go directly to helping pet parents buy pet food and other needed supplies.
Lights Over America is one of few lantern festivals that has a wide range of fire pit options from regular large fire pits to small pocket size you can take home.

Lights Over America’s Sky Lanterns Are Eco Friendly To Both Land And Sea.
Our Lanterns Are Made Of All Natural Products, Metal Free, And Also Flammable Liquid And Gas Free Materials.
Lantern Materials; Rice Paper, A Bamboo Ring, Natural Fiber (hemp) String, And A Bee’s Wax Cake Fuel Cell.
Clean Up; We have a “No Lantern Left Behind Policy”, we have our cleanup team stationed out in the landing zone ready to collect every lantern as they begin to descend.
We track our lanterns flight with 4 Mavic 3T Enterprise Drones, so we know exactly where every lantern flies and lands. We hold a trial run before the event date to test and determine where the lanterns will land. More Information found here

We follow the weather forecast closely leading up to the event, If the weather isn’t clear enough for a safe lantern release, the event will be rescheduled to a later date. We will post important updates on our new page here on our website and on our Facebook event page so be sure to click that you’re going so you will get notified of updates regarding the event faster.
Yes!! Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent.
Absolutely Not! As part of our security policy we do not allow anyone to be dropped off or walk up. Rental cars are also not allowed! You must drive your own car, so if you or your guest commit a crime you will have to leave your car behind.
We do not offer entry same day.

Engagement proposals are only allowed at event locations that have Tangled Packages listed as a ticket option. If no tangled packages are listed then it's banned at that location.
